Call for Papers & Presentations
The Singing Network invites PROPOSALS for PAPERS and PRESENTATIONS which focus on foundations of choral music and diverse aspects of collective singing. Focus areas might include: singing and song, moving, storytelling, conducting, dramatizing, mediating, teaching and learning, composing, socializing, imagining, communicating, expressing… and beyond!

The EXchange! is an integral component of the World Choral Expo. As such, all selected presenters, including panelists, will register for the 2022 World Choral Expo either as an individual participant, conductor/chorister in an invited choir, or conductor/chorister in a participating choir.
PLAN NOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
EXchange! sessions will take place in the mornings and early afternoons of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (5-7 September 2022) at the Centro Cultural Belém. In addition to EXchange! sessions, the World Choral Expo program includes workshops, choral education presentations, conducting masterclasses, exhibitions, and lots of choral performances by invited choirs, professional choral ensembles, and participating choirs and vocal ensembles.
World Choral Expo 2022
The main venue for the 2022 World Choral EXPO will be Centro Cultural Belém. Located in the western parish of Belém, Centro Cultural Belém is Lisbon’s core facility for cultural and leisure activities. The complex is situated near the waterfront, steps from Jerónimos Monastery, Tower of Belém, and the Monument to the Discoveries.
The 2022 World Choral EXPO (WCE) will feature numerous concerts throughout Lisbon and its surrounding cities, presented by participating choirs and 11 selected leading choral ensembles from different continents. Here are the confirmed choirs selected to enrich your WCE 2022 experience: Cantemus Youth Choir, conductor Denis Ceausov (Moldova); Collective Singers, conductor Ponti Dikuua (Namibia); Incantare Coro Femenino, conductor Natalia Vadillo (Argentina); Maze, conductor Merel Martens (Netherlands); Mosaica Singers, conductor Nedy Muna (Jordan); Portland State Chamber Choir, conductor Ethan Sperry (USA); Shallaway Youth Choir, conductor Kellie Walsh (Canada). We are also thrilled to announce the two professional choirs which will be participating in WCE 2022: Kammerchor Stuttgart, conductor Frieder Bernius (Germany) and Ordinarius Vocal Group (Brazil).

The Individual/Student registration fees provide FULL ACCESS to the entire WCE 2022 program (concerts, EXchange! sessions, workshops, masterclasses, etc.).
